The Innisfail Golf Club, in our centennial year, along with Golf Canada are very excited to host the top junior golfers in our country for our National Championship on August 12-16, 2024. This is the first time that our town has been selected to host a National Championship of a major sporting event.

We are eager to showcase the spirit and hospitality of Innisfail to the 156 talented junior golfers (18 years of age and younger) and their families, who will play four rounds of golf to vie for our National Championship.

As a valued community member, your support is instrumental in bringing this major sporting event to life. By partnering with us, in either a volunteer or supporter capacity, you will contribute to the championship’s success and enjoy significant exposure and engagement with residents and visitors.

Volunteer Opportunities

Do you want to be part of the action at the prestigious 2024 Canadian Junior Boys Championship? We’re seeking passionate volunteers to join our team and help ensure the success of this exciting event.

Volunteer roles include registration assistance on the first day, serving as forecaddies or spotters to support players on the course, checkpoint scoring, monitoring the pace of play, and serving as standard bearers or walking scorers on the final day.

Your commitment doesn’t have to be for the entire week – we appreciate any help you can provide, but we do ask that all volunteers provide time for at least two days, either full days, mornings, or afternoons.
