Arguably the most difficult hole of the nine, the 8th offers a tee shot from an elevated box that gives players a wonderful overview of the hole. The conservative play is to hit it approximately 200 yards off the tee to the bottom of the hill. Aggressive or long hitters can try and get to the top of the hill, making the approach shot much easier – but be cautious, the fairway becomes quite narrow and contains a fairway bunker on the left. Second shots played from the bottom of the hill should be adjusted about 1/2 club more to compensate for the incline in the shot. The green is a upside-down bowl shape that runs off in all directions if your yardage isn’t precise and is again guarded by two deep bunkers.
